Publications
Launched during PILER 30 Years Celebrations
Pakistan Institute of Labour Education & Research (PILER) launched
three publications in coproduction with Pakistan Study Centre. Publications
include “Poetry dedicated to laborers” that contains poetry of celebrated
poets of Indo-Pak related to labour issues. Another publication includes,
“The labour movements of Pakistan: ideological and practical indifferences”
that encircle the history of labour movements in Pakistan through
compiled pieces of writings by trade unionists and academicians. “In
pursuit of Peace” is initiative of PILER and Pakistan Peace Coalition
(PPC) that describes the formation of Pakistan-India People’s Forum
for Peace and Democracy (PIPFPD) and ongoing process of people’s to
people contact between the two sides of borders.
